6. MITIGATION ACTION SUMMARY There were five mitigation actions implemented during the Coakley marine geophysical survey, all power downs of the acoustic source. The number and duration of mitigation actions is summarized in table 8. All five power downs were implemented for pinnipeds observed within the 1<strong>90</strong> dB safety radius. Table 8. With the largest amount of downtime attributed to an unidentified pinniped, with 39% of total downtime (Figure 16). 26
