The Tristel Fuse for Instruments sachet produces a high-level disinfecting and sporicidal solution for
medical devices, including instruments.

By adding one activated sachet to five litres of water a chlorine dioxide (ClO 2) solution is produced that
will be sporicidal, mycobactericidal, bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal within a contact time of only
5 minutes.

Take one
sachet to
produce five
litres of ClO 2
solution.
Squeeze one
side of the
sachet to burst
contents
through centre
seal. Contents
will start to go
yellow.
Move contents
from side to
side for 30
seconds.
Cut/tear corner
of sachet.
Pour contents
into five litres
of water.
Immerse
instrument for
five minutes
maximum and
rinse
thoroughly.

At the heart of the Tristel technology is a sophisticated chemistry which generates chlorine dioxide rapidly and
reliably. Chlorine dioxide is a well documented and highly effective biocide.
Incorporated in the Tristel technology is a buffering system which stabilises the pH in the close to neutral
range of 5 to 5.5 and an inhibitor system which protects sensitve materials. The Tristel technology is free from
all aldehydes, peracetic acids and other hazardous chemicals.
