result in payments in excess of this amount, taking into account any<br />

Transitional Arrangements<br />

5.14 Further in<strong>for</strong>mation on assimilation <strong>and</strong> protection arrangements during<br />

the transition to the new system is set out in Part 7, including<br />

in<strong>for</strong>mation on those jobs where it is agreed that there is prima facie<br />

evidence that a premium is necessary to ensure the position of the<br />

NHS is maintained in relation to the relevant external labour market<br />

during the transitional period (see Table 19 in Annex R).<br />
