Model 354 Overhead Suspended Shield
These compact shields ensure maximum dose reduction to the eyes by
the use of high-quality lead glass, with a lead equivalency of 1.5mm Pb.
The windows can turn horizontally and vertically until the ideal angle is
obtained for protection. This also helps eliminate reflections from lights
or other equipment and ensures a clear view of the patient.
• A 166cm reach suspension arm holds the shield at the correct height
without drifting, but allows it to move freely over a wide area
• Shields may be covered with sterile transparent covers (not provided)
This ergonomically designed shield can be moved partially over a patient and adjusted
to provide maximum protection to the practitioner’s eyes and upper body.

or instantly moved for emergency patient access
• The acrylic window may be covered with sterile transparent drapes or covers (not
provided) to ensure visual contact with the patient
• Choice of 40 x 50cm or 76 x 61cm 0.5mm lead equivalent windows, with the corner
cut-out optional on the larger size
• All shields can be ceiling, ceiling track, wall or equipment mounted.
An optional lower protective curtain is fitted to this 76 x 61cm shield. A model without
the corner cut-out and with or without a lower curtain, is also available.

Model 351 Overhead Suspended Shield
The 0.5 mm Pb lead acrylic window of this shield is placed
partially over the patient for effective protection against scatter
radiation to the eyes and upper body. The wide format provides
a safe zone for the practitioner and for personnel assisting close
by. The window can be turned to the most convenient angle or
removed immediately for emergency access to the patient. A 166
cm reach suspension arm enables the shield to descend to the
tableside and move freely within the working area.
