The truth is, he has been working toward this<br />

for thousands of years. He’s been slowly, almost<br />

imperceptibly, leading the people of planet Earth to the<br />

place where they’ll be led away from allegiance to God<br />

and will instead choose loyalty to history’s first rebel.<br />

Consider with me how Satan has been grooming the<br />

planet in preparation for his grab at power.<br />

The book of Revelation states that before the return<br />

of Jesus, those who refuse to worship the beast will be<br />

prevented from buying and selling. I’ve had a number<br />

of people ask me over the years, “And just how is he<br />

going to manage that?”<br />

There’s no question that back in the days of<br />

mechanical cash registers, this seemed outside the<br />

realms of possibility. Go back a couple of hundred years<br />

and the idea seemed entirely preposterous.<br />

But now? In today’s electronic economy, you can<br />

do your banking online or over the phone, and you<br />

can buy anything you need on the Internet, without<br />

exchanging a single dollar bill.<br />

Cash isn’t used like it used to be—most people<br />

conduct transactions using credit cards, debit cards or<br />

checks. Few people are paid by their employer in cash.<br />

One’s wages are almost always direct-deposited into a<br />

bank account, and cash is usually accessed via ATM.<br />

This being so, how difficult would it be for someone<br />

in authority to prevent people from buying and selling?<br />

With the click of a mouse, any authorized bank<br />

employee could effectively prevent you from buying<br />

and selling. Once you burned through your cash and
