in the right and not in the wrong? Based on what we read in<br />

the book of Revelation, it won’t be long until we find out.<br />

And really, that’s all okay. <strong>It</strong>’s okay because God’s people<br />

have never had to rely on their own inventiveness, their<br />

own wits, and their own schemes and plans in order to be<br />

safe. As the Bible says, “God is our refuge and strength”<br />

(Psalm 46:1).<br />

Technology, security, governments and banks are not<br />

the enemies of God’s people. Paul was very clear when<br />

he wrote to the Ephesians that “we wrestle not against<br />

flesh and blood, but against principalities, against<br />

powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world”<br />

(Ephesians 6:12).<br />

The master conspirator, Satan, is slowly but surely<br />

manipulating world events so he can bring the world to<br />

the place where “all the world wondered after the beast”<br />

(Revelation 13:3).<br />

Ultimately, anyone at all—the super-rich, American<br />

presidents, leaders in society, bankers, doctors, lawyers,<br />

school teachers and bus drivers—anyone who is not<br />

surrendered to God will be a pawn in Satan’s game, to aid<br />

the rise of Babylon and rally against the people of God.<br />

Jesus Himself said, “He that is not with me is against<br />

me, and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad”<br />

(Matthew 12:30).<br />

Later in Matthew’s gospel, Jesus talks about the people<br />

on Earth in the last days, referring to them as wheat<br />

and tares, good fish and bad fish, sheep and goats. In<br />

Revelation, John identifies the same two groups, this<br />
