EDITH HOLDEN (Chewlegacy)
Floribunda Rose. 1988. 3ft-4ft
This lovely rose is quite unique in colour; in cool weather the
young flowers are a russet golden brown colour with a yellow centre
while the reverse of the petals are pale and turn to fawn as
they age.
The semi double blooms are urn shaped with 15 petals and are
borne in long sprays of 10-20,
appearing continuously through the summer and into autumn.
This unique colour is a flower arrangers dream.
A useful rose as in a warm climate it can be grown as a short
climber and is suitable for pillars and tripods.
The mid green glossy foliage is healthy and disease resistant.
Scented.
Also known as 'The Edwardian Lady'
Edith Holden was the diarist and author of The Country Diary Of An Edwardian Lady'
Bred by Chris Warner who has bred so many beautiful roses over the years and is responsible for
