PEACEKEEPER (Harbella)
Floribunda Rose. 1994. 2ft-3ft.
Several light colours blend together on this lovely award
winning rose, they are a mixture of coral pink, salmon
and apricot tones on a yellow background, becoming light
yellow as the blooms age.
The flowers are fully double and carried in well spaced
clusters of up to 10.
The first flowering is quite stunning, almost smothering
the bush, and a good succession of bloom is carried on
right through summer into autumn.
An excellent garden rose for bedding and makes a good
fragrant hedge.
Being a Floribunda the stems are not very long but the
blooms are excellent for cutting and flower arranging.
A healthy rose with a bushy habit and a good covering of
light green glossy foliage.
'Peacekeeper' was named to commemorate the golden jubilee of the United Nations and initially sold
in aid of its work for children.
