GEMMA (Harlagoon)<br />
<strong>Floribunda</strong> Rose. 2003. 3ft.<br />
A real rich colour with cool depths.<br />
Gemma has plentiful trusses of deep rose pink which are underlaid<br />
with a hint of mauve. an ideal colour to fit into mixed summer<br />
borders.<br />
Healthy glossy leathery leaves and flowers right through the season<br />
until the first frosts.<br />
It is not too big so will be quite happy in a container and will be<br />
quite a bold show in full bloom.<br />
A very healthy little rose with a pleasant fragrance.<br />
Plant in full sun, water and feed well throughout the season, dead<br />
head regularly for a cracking display of colour.<br />

FLORIBUNDA ROSES<br />
The flowers of this variety are orange, of an unusually clear tone.<br />
Clusters of the plump buds open into double flowers of medium<br />
size, the petals in the centre being tightly coiled and holding this<br />
form for sometime before reflexing to form a cup.<br />
When taken young they are useful for small flower arrangements,<br />
Suitable for a bed, border or a container.<br />
The flowers maintain a good continuity of bloom through summer<br />
and autumn.<br />
The growth is upright and the is average height for a floribunda.<br />
Light green semi glossy foliage.<br />
A healthy rose with good disease resistance.<br />
As with most prolific floribundas dead head regularly to promote further blooms and keep the plant<br />
tidy.<br />
The breeder Colin Pearce of Devon named this rose for his wife.<br />

A very colourful floribunda with masses of blooms of rich raspberry<br />
pink.<br />
The eye at the centre of each flower is yellow at first and than<br />
changes to white. The petals have an attractive silvery reverse<br />
which makes the rose a great rose for flower arranging.<br />
Flowers all summer long, has an excellent disease resistance, plus<br />
the bonus of a lovely musk perfume with fruity overtones.<br />
The Centenary rose is ideal for all purpose planting in beds or<br />
borders, or is quite happy in a large container.<br />
Designed as an easy to look after rose which is suitable for all comers and rose gardening beginners.<br />
