the artillery brigade is the same as shown in figure 34. The<br />

rec<strong>on</strong>naissance regiment c<strong>on</strong>sists of a headquarters and service<br />

unit and two rec<strong>on</strong>naissance battali<strong>on</strong>s organized the same as the<br />

rec<strong>on</strong>naissance battali<strong>on</strong> of the rifle divisi<strong>on</strong> (par. 38).<br />

25. Types of Corps<br />

The <strong>Aggressor</strong> corps c<strong>on</strong>sists of a corps headquarters, normal<br />

attached service units, and tactical troops. When operating as<br />

part of a field army, the corps has limited administrative and supply<br />

functi<strong>on</strong>s. The types of army corps in the <strong>Aggressor</strong> army are<br />

rifle, airborne, artillery, and mountain corps.<br />

26. Rifle Corps<br />

Each rifle corps normally c<strong>on</strong>sists of two rifle divisi<strong>on</strong>s, a mechanized<br />

rifle divisi<strong>on</strong>, an artillery brigade, an antiaircraft artillery<br />

missile battali<strong>on</strong> (SALLY) (fig. 41), a separate heavy tank regiment,<br />

and the necessary service units (fig. 7, table IV). The artillery<br />

brigade is identical with the artillery brigade of the mechanized<br />

army (par. 24) except that the rocket regiment has three<br />

battali<strong>on</strong>s.<br />
