Visiting the Palace and Exhibitions
Guided tours of the State Rooms and their precious
collections provide enlightening insight into the
history, the people and events that shaped this great
Palace. Special exhibitions take place inside the Palace
occasionally throughout the year.

The Churchill Exhibition inside the Palace, which
includes the room where Sir Winston Churchill was born,
reveals the personal side of the great leader.
'Blenheim Palace: The Untold Story' is a must-see visitor
experience inside the Palace bringing 300 years of enticing

‘Churchill’s Destiny, the Story of Two Great War Leaders’
is an exhibition in the Stables Courtyard exploring the life
and achievements of Sir Winston Churchill and his ancestor

The Park & Gardens
The award-winning Formal Gardens and surrounding
parkland transform with the seasons and with an Annual
Pass you can enjoy the wonders of the rolling landscape,
lawns and Great Lake throughout the year. Explore the
Secret Garden, Water Terraces and Rose Garden, the
Grand Cascade and beyond.
Take a ride on the miniature train to the Pleasure
Gardens and tackle the Marlborough Maze – it’s the
second largest symbolic hedge maze in the world!

New Water Terrace Café
& Champagne Bar
The new Water Terrace Café has been designed to meet
your needs whether it is popping in for a cup of tea in
the morning or relaxing over a hot lunch. There is a
range of hot dishes influenced by the Palace’s history,
or salads, soups and sandwiches when you want to grab
something quickly.
The new Champagne Bar inspired by Winston Churchill
and his favourite tipple serves a range of Champagnes
and English sparkling wines. Designed to provide a
moment of luxury, it serves exquisite afternoon teas with
dainty treats inspired by the Palace such as lavender
scones and cigar éclairs.

New Oxfordshire Pantry
The new Oxfordshire Pantry will open in the summer
at the main entrance of the new Visitor Centre. It will
bring together the best ingredients from Oxfordshire
and the Cotswolds including a fresh range of sandwiches,
soups, salads and cakes prepared every day by our
chefs. Baristas will be serving a range of triple-certified
coffees and juices as well as a small range of wines
and beers.
New Pleasure Gardens Deli
Located near the Lavender Garden, the new Pleasure
Gardens Deli is a haven for families to rest and refuel.
Bright and vibrant decor compliments fresh food which
is designed to appeal to our younger visitors as they
explore The Pleasure Gardens. Freshly prepared food
includes simple sandwiches and summer BBQs. Adults
are catered for with a range of gourmet coffees, fresh
cakes and light bites. In the summer months visit the Ice
Cream Parlour for a choice of organic ice-creams and
frozen low-fat yoghurts.

By road
Blenheim Palace is in the historic town of Woodstock, 8 miles from
Oxford on the A44 Evesham Road. Easily accessible from both
London and Birmingham via the M40 (junction 9).
By rail
Trains to Oxford run regularly from London Paddington and
Birmingham New Street. Call 08457 48 49 50.
By bus
The no. S3 bus to Woodstock runs from Oxford Train Station and
Gloucester Green Coach Station at 30 minute intervals. The bus stops
at the Palace gates, 10 minutes walk from the Palace.
