• Tape toge<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>r and Hang <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> <strong>Flamingo</strong> pin-up <strong>on</strong> a wall<br />
Instructi<strong>on</strong>s<br />
• Set up two teams of two<br />
• From a few feet away from <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> pin-up, blindfold <strong>on</strong>e girl who<br />
will attempt to “pin <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>tail</str<strong>on</strong>g>” <strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> <strong>Flamingo</strong> and her team mate<br />
will lead her by verbally providing instructi<strong>on</strong>s<br />
• The girl will need to pin <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>tail</str<strong>on</strong>g> <strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> flamingo and <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> team<br />

• Set up two teams of 10 girls<br />
• One girl will put <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> hoola hoop <strong>on</strong> her arm and each girl<br />
<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>n holds each o<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>r’s hand and form a circle<br />
• Try to get <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> hoola hoop around <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> circle of girls as quickly<br />

Supplies Needed<br />
• Straws<br />
• Bowls<br />
• Beans (ie., white beans to simulate a string of pearls)<br />
• <str<strong>on</strong>g>Pin</str<strong>on</strong>g>k boa’s (opti<strong>on</strong>al)<br />
Simple Preparati<strong>on</strong><br />
• Place empty bowls <strong>on</strong> <strong>on</strong>e side of <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> room and bowls full of dried beans <strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> o<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>r side.<br />
Make sure <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>re is an equal number of bean’s in each bowl. Give each team member a straw.<br />
Instructi<strong>on</strong>s<br />
• Divide <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> group of girls into teams (<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> number of teams depends <strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> area<br />
you have available and group size).<br />
• Girls will take turns to transport <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> bean’s using <strong>on</strong>ly <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> straw, from a bowl<br />

• Have each girl write a fun fact about <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>mselves that <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>ir fellow<br />
Troop members may not know about <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>m <strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> index card/paper<br />
• Works best with a group of 8 – 12 / split girls into two teams<br />
• Add all <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> index cards/paper into a basket or hat and shuffle<br />

• Have a girl pick out <strong>on</strong>e index card and read <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> fun fact out loud.<br />
She will have <strong>on</strong>e chance to figure out who it is.<br />
• Once <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>y guess correctly, <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> next girl will pull out ano<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>r name from <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> basket/hat and so <strong>on</strong>.<br />
• The team has <strong>on</strong>e minute to go through as many names as <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>y can. If <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>y get stuck<br />
<strong>on</strong> a name, <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>y can pass and move <strong>on</strong>to <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> next name.<br />
• Names that are guessed successfully, put in a separate pile, those that are ‘passed’ put back<br />
in <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> basket. When <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> minute is up, add up <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> total number of names guessed, and add<br />
that to <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> team’s score. Move <strong>on</strong>to <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> next team who do <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> same as above.<br />

into 20 equal pieces<br />
Instructi<strong>on</strong>s<br />
• Stack <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> squares randomly into a single pile,<br />
with picture sides facing down. Start <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> timer,<br />
and you <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>n have 60 sec<strong>on</strong>ds to turn over<br />

• Hardboiled/Plastic Eggs<br />
• Spo<strong>on</strong>s<br />
Simple Preparati<strong>on</strong><br />
• Mark a starting line and turnaround point where girls will<br />
go back to <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>ir team and pass off to <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> next girl in <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> relay<br />
• Add obstacles (ie., small orange c<strong>on</strong>es) to make <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> relay<br />
more challenging (opti<strong>on</strong>al)<br />
Instructi<strong>on</strong>s<br />
• Form two teams; give every player a spo<strong>on</strong>. Give each team a hard-boiled/plastic egg.<br />
• Each girl will carry <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>ir egg from <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> starting line to a turnaround point and back again,<br />
<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> next girl will go and repeat <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> process until each pers<strong>on</strong> <strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> team had <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>ir turn.<br />
• If <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> egg is dropped, <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> player must stop and pick it up and resume to <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> finish line.<br />
• First team to finish wins.<br />
• For more of a challenge, have <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> girls hold <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> spo<strong>on</strong>s in <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>ir mouth!
