15883-1 & 4 and provides the fastest complete reprocessing cycle. The standard cycle delivers a ready-to-use
endoscope within only 20 minutes* from leak test to air-purge. The Soluscope 3 reprocessor is the ultimate safety in
endoscope reprocessing:
• Safe for the patient with its traceability, channel control and self-disinfection
systems.
• Safe for the user with no chemical contact and no fumes. The loading method
allows a comfortable and ergonomic position when operating the machine.
• Safe for the endoscope with its continuous leak test and the combination of
low concentration, mild temperature and short contact time.
Validated process
• Soluscope 3 reprocessor is compliant with the highly demanding iSO 15883 parts 1 & 4.
• Soluscope 3 uses specifically formulated and dedicated chemical products.
The disinfectants are validated to perform a High Level Disinfection (scientific
file available on simple request).
• Validation of the products efficacy in combination with the reprocessor
is performed in compliance with the ISO 15883.

Self-disinfection
Dedicated treatment products
No chemical re-use, more efficacy
• Glutaraldehyde Soluscope D or Peracetic Acid Soluscope P, combined with the
anticorrosive Soluscope a are the two available disinfectants.
• Soluscope C+ is a unique cleaner with enhanced efficacy tested on biofilm.
• More efficacy and security: both the cleaner and the disinfectant diluted solutions are
prepared from concentrated products and discarded after use. This single shot concept
guarantees a constant chemical efficacy and avoids cross contamination risk.
Traceability: patient safety
Traceability compliant with the ISO 15883 requirements
• The reprocessor offers a built-in barcode scanner allowing the operator to register
himself and the endoscope, but also the patient and the doctor, thus generating all the
necessary data even for the most demanding quality management systems.
• This registered information, along with all the relevant process parameters, is printed out at
the end of the cycle with a clear indication of the reprocessing result, giving unbiased proof
that the scope can be safely reused.
Water treatment
The water treatment is no longer an issue
• Bacteria free rinsing water, according to iSO 15883-4, is provided by a complete water
treatment process.
• The Soluscope 3 reprocessor has both the final 0.2 μm filter and its pre-filtering protection
built-in.
• The entire filtration line is monitored by the machine which alarms when the filters start to clog.
Safe for the Endoscope
A reprocessor designed to protect your endoscope
• The risk of flooding the endoscope is prevented throughout the cycle by a leak test which
provides a protective overpressure inside the endoscope as long as the endoscope is immerged.
• This overpressure is monitored throughout the procedure. If a leak does occur, the
cycle is interrupted, the machine is automatically drained while additional air pressure is
injected through the endoscope.
• Disinfection stage: the dedicated chemistry used is both environment and material friendly
thanks to a very low concentration of disinfectant which is warmed to a mild temperature
(40°C for Soluscope P and 45°C for Soluscope D) and minimum contact time is 5 minutes.
Channel Control
Thanks to its reproducible volumetric channel control concept,
at each step of the cycle, the Soluscope 3:
• Monitors the proper amount of solution flushed through each and every channel;
• Controls that no channel is obstructed and that the scope is properly connected;
• Ensures that all channels have been cleaned, disinfected and rinsed.
A complete automatic self-disinfection cycle
• Run daily, this cycle protects the machine from possible contamination.
• The cycle involves all parts of the machine including the 0.2 μm water-filter
as well as the pre-filters and the break tank.
