(e) The committee may, if it th<strong>in</strong>ks necessary, require <strong>the</strong> Compla<strong>in</strong>ant to<br />
appear before <strong>the</strong> committee but shall give an opportunity to <strong>the</strong><br />
<strong>Judicial</strong> Officer aga<strong>in</strong>st whom <strong>the</strong> compla<strong>in</strong>t is made to be heard.<br />
(f) After conduct<strong>in</strong>g an <strong>in</strong>vestigation, <strong>the</strong> Committee shall decide whe<strong>the</strong>r<br />
any allegations made <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> compla<strong>in</strong>t have been proved and if it so<br />
decides it shall:-<br />
(i) Inform <strong>the</strong> Chief Justice accord<strong>in</strong>gly mak<strong>in</strong>g any<br />
recommendations, it th<strong>in</strong>ks fit;<br />
(ii) Inform <strong>the</strong> compla<strong>in</strong>ant and <strong>the</strong> <strong>Judicial</strong> Officer whose conduct<br />
was <strong>in</strong>vestigated, <strong>of</strong> its f<strong>in</strong>d<strong>in</strong>gs.<br />
(g) Any recommendation made to <strong>the</strong> Chief Justice shall state whe<strong>the</strong>r <strong>the</strong><br />
conduct <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Judicial</strong> Officer is <strong>of</strong> such gravity that <strong>the</strong> matter should<br />
be referred to <strong>the</strong> <strong>Judicial</strong> and Legal Service Commission.<br />
(h) The Chief Justice shall cause to be kept a register <strong>in</strong> which shall be<br />
recorded all compla<strong>in</strong>ts <strong>in</strong>vestigated by <strong>the</strong> Committee and <strong>the</strong><br />
outcome <strong>of</strong> such compla<strong>in</strong>ts.<br />
