n The General Organisation for Youth and Sports (Goys) signed<br />
an agreement with BFG Contracting <strong>to</strong> install hardwood flooring<br />
for the Muharraq Club and Al Hala Club basketball courts at<br />
a <strong>to</strong>tal cost of BD79,273. The agreement was signed by Goys<br />
facilities and projects direc<strong>to</strong>r Khalid Al Haj. A new hardwood<br />
surface will <strong>be</strong> installed in both club’s gyms, each of which will<br />
meet the requirements of the International Basketball Federation<br />
(Fiba). Al Haj said that changing the hardwood flooring in both<br />
clubs is compatible with the strategy of Goys <strong>to</strong> develop the<br />
necessary infrastructure for the development of sports teams<br />
of national clubs. He noted that this project would create ideal<br />

started her campaign winning<br />
the singles gold medal, <strong>be</strong>fore<br />
teaming up with Al Awadhi <strong>to</strong><br />
clinch the doubles title. Sultan<br />
then led a Bahrain quartet <strong>to</strong><br />
vic<strong>to</strong>ry in the team event.<br />
Early on, the <strong>to</strong>p eight bowlers<br />
qualified for the main event<br />
final after playing 18 games<br />
each. Sultan guided the qualifiers<br />
<strong>to</strong> the last eight.<br />
