delivering what the buyer wants
How can you accommodate home buyers who
want gas when natural gas lines aren’t available? Do
what more and more builders all across Virginia are
doing—recommend propane gas from AmeriGas.
Safe, convenient and reliable, propane is like natural
gas but it’s delivered in a truck rather than through
a pipeline. By recommending propane when natural
gas is not available, you’ll help your customers get
what they really want—gas appliances—which can
translate into future referrals for you and better
resale value for them.
Propane, a clean-burning energy source approved
as an alternative fuel by the Clean Air Act of 1990,
also has another plus for patriotic-minded clients.
While oil comes primarily from overseas, the vast
majority of propane gas is manufactured right here
in the United States.
onsite septic system uses
natural process on wastewater
Presby Environmental’s Advanced Enviro-Septic
(AES) is an effective, passive and nonmechanical
onsite wastewater treatment and dispersal system
for residential, commercial and community use. It’s
NSF Class I certified as well as BNQ certified for
secondary and advanced secondary treatment.
Proven to remove up to 99 percent of wastewater
contaminants, AES quickly and naturally establishes
multiple bacterial treatment environments throughout
the system that break down and digest wastewater
contaminants that leave the septic tank. This natural
process allows the system to discharge highly purified
wastewater, preventing soil clogging and groundwater
contamination.
AES can obtain these high levels of treatment
without the use of electricity or replacement media.
With more than 150,000 systems installed around
the world, AES is a proven and reliable technology.
To purchase AES, please contact VAMAC at
Bigfoot adds new 10-inch tube
Ground water, wet soil or moisture won’t impede
the installation of Bigfoot’s newest plastic tube,
the BFT10. Measuring 10 inches by 4 feet, it can
be used by itself or with Bigfoot Systems BF24 or
BF28 footing forms.
A dependable way to build footings, Bigfoot
tubes are simple to install. When using with Bigfoot
BF24 or BF28 remove the small and medium rings
from the footing form. Attach BFT10 to the Bigfoot
using 4-inch screws. (Screw indents are located on
BFT10’s flange.) Place the system into the excavation
and follow the installation instructions printed on
the tube for “Below Ground Applications.” Remove
safety top handle from BFT10 and pour 2.18 cubic
feet of concrete into the form.
The BFT10 meets or exceeds all local and national
building codes when used with a Bigfoot Systems
footing form.
