Air spring failure can be caused by a<br />
variety of situations, including internal or<br />
external rubbing, excessive heat and<br />
overextension. For further details, refer<br />
to Section 9, Warranty Considerations.<br />
Bead plates are normally fully supported,<br />
however, mounting the bead<br />
plate directly to the frame raft, or other<br />
mounting surface with less than full<br />
support, may be possible.<br />
The normal ambient operating temperature<br />
range for standard vehicular air<br />
springs is -65F to +135F.<br />
UMPERS<br />
In general, bumpers are used to support<br />
the vehicle weight to prevent<br />
damage to the flexible member during<br />
times when no air is in the system. They<br />
are also used as stops when the axle is<br />
raised by a lift unit. In applications that<br />
