M-6, 12.6 inches, and an assumed axle
diameter of 5 inches plus a minimum
clearance of one inch, calculate the
dimension "C" shown in the illustration
on page 56:
C (1/2 x OD air spring / 1/2 x axle diameter) / clearance

Calculating dimension "C" in this
manner places the air spring as close to
the axle as possible, which provides-the
lowest rate and frequency at the wheel
(with the air spring aft of the axle).
Now calculate dimensions "A" and "B"
with LAR- 1.52 and C -9.8.
