Loosen the impeller screw (9) and remove the
underlying washer (148).
The impeller (131) can then be removed with the aid
of two crowbars. Remove the key (1).
Remove the two strainer halves (158 and 159) by
undoing their fixing screws (2). The next diffuser ring
section (139) can then be lifted free after the bolted
joint has been disconnected. Note that every other
bolt is screwed into the oil casing (153). Use a sling as
shown.
The inner diffuser disc (141) is located inside the
diffuser ring (139). If it must be removed, the wear
ring (142) must first be removed. This is most easily
done with the aid of two screwdrivers. The screw (3)
which holds the diffuser disc (141) is then rendered
accessible
