automatically polished by Killick, bore the

'I am amazed,' cried Dutourd. 'I never
thought to see them again.'
'I hope you will be able to find the cover you
spoke of.'
'I am sure I shall: the desk is still locked,' said
Dutourd, feeling for his keys.
'I ask pardon, sir,' said Mr Adams, Jack's
