Jenn Chong strapping band extrusion line is the most flexible strapping band extrusion line at the forefront of the market providing technical
solution in the field for PP and PET straps production to all international packaging standards.
From the standard PP strapping line configuration, to the technical PET strapping line setup, for both embossed or non-embossed, hand grade
and automatic strapping grade, and with different width and thickness from 5mm up to 19mm or heavy gauge customize strap gauge,
the JC-ST series strapping band extrusion line has the solution offering a combination of efficient, reliable, and performance, ensures
the least investment compared with its high productivities to facilitate the ever-demand requirement of various industry application to meet

ExTRuSION PROCESS
Pre-Extrusion Process for Treated PET & Feeding
Crystallizing and Dehumidifying of treated PET material is absolutely
indispensable for process of treated recycled PET bottle flakes into
suitable condition for the production of premium quality PET straps.
Extruder
Designed and engineered to provide superior melt quality, the unique screw
design and screw geometry assured a steady plasticization and perfect
homogenous melt.
Automatic temperature control system is available with SSR or SCR
PID thermoregulation to minimize power consumption and maintain
temperature accuracy.
None-Stop Screen Changer
Available in simple continuous belt screen changer to a more sophisticated
continuous flow screen changer with automatic back flush/self-cleaning
feature to ensure continuous melt flow and nonstop operation during screen
change. Continuous Back Flush Screen changer is strongly recommend for
processing recycled material, especially for recycled PET bottle flakes.
▪ Crystallize & Dehumidify System
Metering Spin Pump
Metering spin pump is indispensable for strapping band extrusion,
ensures consistent polymer feeding to the die set, and gives much
better quality and uniformity of finish straps.
Extrusion Die Pack
The strapping die head is designed with bottom loading concept for
easy loading and quick exchangeability of die set, essential for troublefree
operation.
Quenching Water Bath
The quenching water bath is made from stainless steel, insulated, and
designed in feature to ensure smooth water circulation and consistence
water temperature. Motorized tank elevation system allows ease height
adjustment of precise water level.

The complete extrusion line operation parameter is monitored and
controlled from the central control panel. All control units are arranged
logically in neatly fashion to optimized easy operation of the complete
production line.
Standardize synchronize speed ratio control system provide easier
operation and accurate synchronization of entire stretching and
annealing process.
Besides reliably and consistently standard process control system,
Central Process Monitoring & Control System incorporate a touch
screen HMI can be upgrade features user-friendly operator interface
with easy access to all operating setting keep all parameter on target.

STRETCHING, EMBOSSING, SETTING PROCESS
Draw Stand
The physical characteristic of the straps, such as dimensional uniformity, tensile
strength, elongation is predominantly determined by the degree of orientation.
Each draw stand is precisely engineered with robust design and
equipped with individual drive for precise speed control for either manual,
synchronize mode, or automatic mode.
Draw stand is available in 3, 5, or 7 chromium plated and/or plasma
coated godets running in cantilever concept free of slippage. Diathermic
oil heated and water cooled godets are available optionally.
Embossing unit
Roller manufacture from superior quality SACM-645 material with individual
drive for precise speed control. Embossing roller is adjustable and
interchangeable for process various type of embossing depth and pattern.
Stretching Hot Air Oven
Well insulated hot air stretching oven working with automatic temperature
controller and adjustable circulated hot air flow is monitored and automatically
controlled to ensure consistent heat distribution and precise temperature.
Low energy consumption is assured by top grade ceramic fiber insulation
material and minimizing hot air dispersion with efficient aerodynamic air flow.
Setting Hot Air Oven and Cooling Water Bath
Final setting is done with annealingdie set, hot air oven and cooling in
temperature controlled water bath ensuring strap internal stress is relieved to
attain straight strap without camber for use in automatic strapping machine.

TAKE-uP WINDING PROCESS
Winding of strap is significantly crucial to the profitability and overall
operation of a strapping band extrusion line. To achieve maximum
potential, Jenn Chong offers multiple options of winder per customer’s
preference, all posses maximum efficiency, reliability, and perfect
winding quality.
Winder is available in mechanical system or PLC system. Conventional
mechanical winder with fixed traverse cam involves change of gears
ratio for laying of different strap size. The advanced PLC control
winder capable for parameter management enable winding of different
strap sizes by simple input of strap specs.
Optionally with interchangeable mandrel and traverse guide, each unit
is capable for winding of various strap gauge and every kind of bobbin
core which ultimately giving an overall flexibility of the winder unit.
