Care card and helpline<br />

Clients who wonder what would happen to their dog if they were<br />

to die suddenly die can take advantage of a free service offered by<br />

Dogs Trust.<br />

The Trust, the UK’s largest dog welfare charity, issues the “Canine<br />

Care Card” – the same size <strong>as</strong> a credit card and which can be<br />

carried like an organ donor card – through which the Trust<br />

promises to look after dogs in the event of the owner’s death.<br />

A leaflet entitled “Canine Care Card” and a registration <strong>for</strong>m can<br />

be downloaded from the Dog Advice section of the Trust website<br />

www.dogstrust.org.uk .<br />

Clients can also talk to someone in confidence about Dogs Trust<br />

caring <strong>for</strong> their dog after their lifetime, by calling Nana Ayebiara-<br />
