Guardian, which I was led to believe is the second largest
newspaper in the UK. Inside the newspaper was an article on
Tony Blair and the books he recommended. Mine was
included. So that became the subject of talk in many of the
churches I spoke in. It was amazing to see how my writings
have spread amongst believers in England. It was also good to
renew fellowship with so many believers that I had met in the
past.
Two events stood out in particular. First, I got to speak to a
Messianic Congregation in England, which turned out to be a
solid teaching congregation. The
founding pastor is a Camp
Shoshanah graduate who moved
to England to begin this work,
which has grown well.
Furthermore, not only are they providing a market for Ariel
books, but they have the complete collection of all Ariel
manuscripts, which they use in the discipleship program. In
England, it is harder to find a Bible teaching Messianic
Congregation than in the U.S., but I was delighted to find this
one and will promote it amongst British believers living in the
London area.
The second event was an experience in York (the old one, not
the new one). The meetings were held in the middle of a
cemetery, obviously a very unique setting. The leader who
organized the meetings in York is married to a handicapped
wife as I am. I had dinner at a restaurant with the leader and
his wife and their very active and talkative young daughter. I
was able to observe how much he loved his wife and aided her
in every way. His dedication to her was very obvious and his
actions were prime examples of biblical love; the love a
husband expresses for his wife. I walked away praising God
for such a beautiful example.
As busy as it was, it was very enjoyable to be in England again,
and I promised to return in the future.
