G = E + PV −TS<br />

• The first order derivative <strong>of</strong> Gibbs Free Energy<br />

w.r.t. pressure at constant temperature gives<br />

density.<br />

• The density undergoes an abrupt change leading<br />

to a discontinuity called as Gibbs First Order<br />
