like La Loca Chica Pottery. Carolyx Inc. also produces kiln furniture, cones, molds, and a variety of other products used in the ceramic industry. Carolyx Inc. houses all goods in relation to manufacturing. Sub-contracting this labor saves not only time and money, but outsourcing saves valuable space. Since Carolyx Inc. houses all raw and fired material, we can in-turn, create more work in a smaller space. Carolyx Inc. charges approximately $1,000 for the initial making of the block and case mold and the working mold. Subsequent working molds are factored into the initial price of the mold. After paying the initial fees, each piece is set at a fixed price of approximately $5 for each piece. There are other sub-contractors that do the same line of work incase Carolyx Inc. goes out of business. 10
Stage of Development Currently, the development stage is still in small production runs. The work created now is all hand-thrown and jiggered, a process that takes time. In July of 2007, right after graduation from WVU's Masters of Fine Arts Program, LLCP will sub-contract Carolyx Inc. to create the master mold and begin the manufacturing process. In August of 2007, La Loca Chica Pottery will be in full production stage. Future Research And Development La Loca Chica Pottery can be improved by periodically adding new items, doing limited-edition sets and one-of-a-kind items. Future research will also be conducted outside of the crafts industry. It is important to seek knowledge outside of a businesses industry. LLCP plans to research other markets and other types of art for company growth. Product/Service Limitations At LLCP LLC, customer service is a top priority. We want the customer to be completely satisfied with their purchase of fine dinnerware. If for some reason, the customer is not completely satisfied with the item they have purchased, they must contact LLCP within 30 days of original receipt to make arrangements and availability for refund exchange or credit 8 . 8 Full return policy in the appendix 11
