STUDY GUIDE # ONE
HEALTH via FOOD
WILLIAM HOWARD HAY, M.D.
Prepared by: The “BAREFOOT” Herbalist
This study guide hopefully will aid the reader to understand more of what
the author is attempting to teach. Dr. Hay wrote this book while on vacation
in a very short time. He has much information to offer from his lifetime of
experiences and learning. I have read and continue to read many old books
by authors that were very successful in their time with aiding people back to
health. I look for certain things in a book, things most people would ignore.
Out of many books, I have chosen this book as the number 1 book for the
beginner to start with. My goal is to teach that all people have the God
given right to good health.
The Dr. Hay book has the most to offer for the least effort and is the “BEST”
guide to get back on the right track to good health. My goal is to have a
series of “MY CHOICE” books to obtain Longevity! Each book will be
followed by my next choice of what should be learned next. If the reader
does not agree with this book and experiment with the Dr. Hay methods,
then there is no reason to read my other “choice” books.
The Dr. Hay book is not my 1 st choice to start with. My first choice would
be a book on the many reasons why the body becomes ill, such as dental
metals, vaccinations, poisons, etc. This seems too much for the average
reader to take time to learn about and the Dr. Hay book also ignores these
problems, He knows the patient wants the quick fix for the least amount of
time and effort. My hope is that the quick fix learned from this book ignites
the interest of the reader to seek more and more information on how to not
only reverse the damages already done, but to live well a lifetime!
In all my books I have highlighted the points of interest. My good books
may at times seem to be all highlighted with corners bent over on the really
good pages. Rarely does anyone agree 100% with any author, especially on
