Can medicines, stimulates, electricity, etc. bring back the elasticity of the
digestive track?
Dr. Hay used no herbs and with his cool enema he needed no herbs and seen
them as irritants. Dr. John R. Christopher developed his herbal formula to
keep the intestinal muscles strong. He said the herbs were simply foods and
that these foods enabled the intestines to exercise and stay strong and
healthy. I would have to agree with Dr. Hay that Dr. Christopher’s herbal
formula would irritate the intestines into movement, but no more than the
seeds of berries would. Dr. Christopher also preferred the enema when
aiding the sick as Dr. Hay did, but used the herbs to maintain the health of
the intestines. I myself see the herbal formula to be used as long as the
person is not eating according to Nature. If we ate according to Nature, then
there would be no need for enema or herb.
