Beginners Photography Workshop- Landscape Photography<br />
Join Site Manager Dave Rogers for an insight into the world of landscape photography.<br />
There will be an introductory talk followed by a guided walk to explore the<br />
photographic opportunities of Lakenheath Fen. Adults £10/ Children £5 (RSPB<br />
members half price)<br />
Sunday September 9 11am-12.30pm<br />
Talk: Kingfishers– Up Close & Personal<br />
Local photographer Jeff Harrison will deliver a talk about one of Britain’s most<br />
beautiful and sought after breeding birds. This will provide an insight into the ecology<br />
of these little beauties and there will be plenty of great images to marvel at.<br />
Price includes a hot drink and a biscuit. Adults £5/ Children £2 (RSPB & Wildlife<br />
Explorers members half price).<br />
Sunday September 16 10am-1pm<br />
Kingfisher Quest<br />
Lakenheath Fen is a great place for seeing kingfishers, but you have to have a fair<br />
bit of luck on your side! Join us for an introductory talk about these beautiful birds<br />
followed by a walk to look out for them shooting across the water like little blue<br />
torpedoes. Adults £4/ Children £2 (RSPB members half price).<br />
Sunday September 30 11am-12pm<br />
Talk: <strong>St</strong>odmarsh NNR<br />
Site Manager Dave Rogers will tell us about his previous base of the Kent National<br />
Natural Reserves managed by Natural England. This will include details about<br />
<strong>St</strong>odmarsh, which is a famous reserve for birds and people alike. Price includes a<br />
hot drink and a biscuit. Adults £5/ Children £2.50 (RSPB Members half price).<br />
