“And those who believe and whose <strong>of</strong>fspring follow <strong>the</strong>m in Faith, <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong>m shall We join <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
<strong>of</strong>fspring, and We shall not decrease <strong>the</strong> reward <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir deeds in anything. Every person is a<br />
pledge for that which he has earned.”{21} (Surat At-Tur).<br />
In addition, <strong>the</strong> effect <strong>of</strong> being righteous parents will be reflected on <strong>the</strong> life <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir child-<br />
ren. Allah mentioned in Surat Al-Kahf two orphans for whom Allah inspired <strong>the</strong> prophet<br />
Khidr (peace be upon him) <strong>to</strong> build <strong>the</strong> ruined wall <strong>to</strong> protect <strong>the</strong>ir treasure because <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
righteous parents and in o<strong>the</strong>r narration because <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir seventh grandfa<strong>the</strong>r who was a<br />
righteous man as Allah says:<br />

"And as for <strong>the</strong> wall, it belonged <strong>to</strong> two orphan boys in <strong>the</strong> <strong>to</strong>wn; and <strong>the</strong>re was under it a<br />
treasure belonging <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong>m; and <strong>the</strong>ir fa<strong>the</strong>r was a righteous man, and your Lord intended<br />
that <strong>the</strong>y should attain <strong>the</strong>ir age <strong>of</strong> full strength and take out <strong>the</strong>ir treasure as a mercy from<br />
your Lord. And I did it not <strong>of</strong> my own accord. That is <strong>the</strong> interpretation <strong>of</strong> those (things) over<br />
which you could not hold patience."{82} (Surat Al-Kahf).<br />
<strong>The</strong>refore, try with your wife <strong>to</strong> be righteous in order <strong>to</strong> insure <strong>the</strong> righteousness <strong>of</strong> your<br />
family and have <strong>the</strong> happiness in life and <strong>the</strong> Last <strong>Day</strong>.<br />
15. Deeds whose benefits reach <strong>the</strong> dead man after his death:<br />
A- <strong>The</strong> righteous son:<br />
One <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> great bounties from Allah, <strong>the</strong> Almighty, upon His servants is providing <strong>the</strong>m<br />
righteous <strong>of</strong>fspring <strong>to</strong> help <strong>the</strong>m obey Allah; those who will follow <strong>the</strong>m in doing good<br />
deeds and be <strong>the</strong> reason <strong>of</strong> raising <strong>the</strong>ir grade in Paradise. <strong>The</strong> Prophet <strong>of</strong> Allah said: “Al-<br />
lah raises <strong>the</strong> level <strong>of</strong> His righteous servant in Paradise so that he (<strong>the</strong> servant) says: ‘O<br />
Allah from where have I deserved this?’ Allah says: “Because your children asked for-
