BERNARD, Henry Charles “Mickie” WWII<br />

Bernard was born in Tignish, PEI. He enlisted in the Army as a Private<br />

with unit #62 C.A. (B) T.C. on October 16, 1942. He served in Canada,<br />

the UK and Continental Europe, and received his discharge on<br />

December 15, 1945.<br />

BERNARD, Mary Mildred WWII<br />

Mary was born in Tignish, PEI. She enlisted with the Army C.W.A. Corp<br />

on January 22, 1943 and served in Canada. Mary received her discharge<br />

on August 30, 1946.<br />

BERNARD, Valerie Joseph WWII<br />

Bernard was born in Tignish, PEI. He enlisted with the R.C.A.S.C. as<br />

a Private on August 13, 1950 and served in Canada. He received his<br />

discharge on March 24, 1952.<br />

BLACKETT, Lester WWII<br />

Lester was born in 1911 to Sarah and Crawford Blackett in Little Pond,<br />

PEI. He served in the Canadian Army during World War Two. Lester<br />

passed away in 2008.<br />

BOLGER, Joseph Ernest WWII<br />

Joseph was born in Stanley Bridge on October 19, 1905, the son of<br />

Thomas and Margaret Jane (Walsh) Bolger. He joined the Royal<br />

Canadian Air Force in World War Two and served at air bases as Security<br />

Guard and Instructor during the war. After his discharge, he was<br />

employed with the “George Full Produce Co.” in Hunter River, where he<br />

and his family resided. Joseph passed away on September 22, 1996.<br />
