MACRAE (MACNUTT), Mary W. WWII<br />
Mary was born in Charlottetown, PEI. After early education, she<br />
entered the PEI Hospital School of Nursing and graduated in 1938. In<br />
1941, she enlisted in the R.C.A.M.C. until 1945. She served in<br />
Newfoundland and England. For outstanding work following an explosion<br />
in Lewisport, Newfoundland, she was awarded R.R.C. 1 st Class<br />
(Royal Red Cross). She later married Norman A. MacRae and resided<br />
in Wheatley River, PEI.<br />
MATHESON, Frank Millar WWII<br />
Frank was born on May 8, 1921 in Clyde River, PEI. He joined the<br />
Canadian Army and served in Canada and overseas. Frank passed<br />
away on April 2, 1996.<br />
MCCLOSKEY, James T. WWI & WWII<br />
James was born in Emyvale, PEI on August 3, 1895. He received a<br />
Purple Heart in World War One, serving on the front lines in Europe.<br />
In World War Two, he served with the Veterans Guard of Canada.<br />
James passed away on April 20, 1975.<br />
MCINNIS, Houlton WWII<br />
Houlton was born on April 16, 1920 in Moncton, NB. He served with<br />
the Royal Canadian Navy for five years on the Corvette H.M.C.S.<br />
Pictou in the North Atlantic. Houlton passed away in Charlottetown,<br />
PEI on November 14, 2006.<br />

MCLURE, Gordon WWII<br />
Gordon was born in Berlin, New Hampshire, USA on October 14, 1920.<br />
He was a Flight Lieutenant in the Air Force serving from February 7,<br />
1941 to November 1945. He served in Quebec, Bournemouth,<br />
England, Banff, Scotland, Yorkshire, England and Linton-on-Ouse.<br />
Gordon passed away on January 17, 1994.<br />
