across a well-built house that was stocked with food (effect),
would you not readily acknowledge that someone
(a cause) was responsible? So, too, when we see the obvious
design built into nature and the abundance of food
stocked in earth’s ‘cupboards’ (effect), does it not make
sense to conclude that Someone (a Cause) is responsible?
The Bible itself reasons in this way: ‘Every house is constructed
by someone, but he that constructed all things
is God.’” (Hebrews 3:4) Of course, no matter how sound
our reasoning, not everyone will be convinced.—2 Thessalonians
3:2.
