PENSTEMON
Penstemons are invaluable plants for extending
the flowering season from July
until the autumn. They prefer full sun &
a well drained soil. In cold areas, a few
autumn cuttings may be advisable. Only
prune plants in the Spring when the new
basal growth is appearing, as the old top
growth will help to protect plants from
severe frosts.
