Create a Coin
Students should look at the coins on which Poseidon appears. They should make note
of who and what appears on the coins with Poseidon either on the same side as
Poseidon or on the opposite side. Students should also investigate items, animals and
beings that are associated with Poseidon. With this information in mind, students
should create a coin on which Poseidon and an associated item, animal or being appears.
Below are some excellent examples of coins on which Poseidon appears for
students to start with. Students should use the coin outlines provided to draw their
coins.
