Our SVDP Conference Meeting on this coming
Tuesday, September 18, will begin with the following
prayer: "Lord Jesus, deepen our Vincentian
spirit of friendship during this meeting, make us
responsive to the Christian calling to seek and find
the forgotten, the suffering, and the deprived so
that we may bring them Your love.
Help us to be generous with our time, our possessions,
and ourselves in this mission of charity." The
one-hour meeting starts at 7:00 p.m.
and is held in the Church Meeting Room.

STEPHEN MINISTRY
“Christ Caring for People through People.”
Summer is over and fall is just on the horizon. Fall
can be a beautiful time of the year but for some it
may seem cold and lonely, especially if they suffered
a loss or experienced a crisis. Our Stephen
Ministers are trained to help people through the
"winters" of life, providing emotional and spiritual
support during tough times. If you or someone
you know could benefit from the confidential, oneto-one

SERRA CLUB OF SOUTH ORANGE COUNTY
REVEREND JOHN MONEYPENNY TO SPEAK
MONDAY SEPTEMBER 17TH FOLLOWING

Our meeting will take place in Knight Hall at St.
Edward the Confessor Parish, 33926 Calle La
Primavera, Dana Pt. 92629. We start with a social,
(6:00 PM), dinner, speaker; & finish with a
Decade of the Rosary & the Prayer for Vocations

HANDI-KNIGHTS
The Handi-Knights is a program to help those in
our parish and the community with Household
repairs that they are unable to do because of
physical or financial limitations. If anyone has the
need for help call Paul Prendiville 584-4149.
Outreach & Support
GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP
Our parish grief support group for parents
who have experienced the loss of a child is
beginning again.
It is our hope that here, within a loving spiritual
environment, you will find companions who will
walk alongside you on your grief journey. We
would like to invite you to join us our meetings
are on Tuesdays, at 7 P.M. in Room 220, located
on the second floor of the school. The group
will meet on Tuesday evening for eight weeks.

Manager, at 949-496-1307 between 8 AM – 4
PM, to let us know whether you will be able to
attend (to register), and if you have questions.
COME AND JOIN THE BLINKY PATROL
Wednesday September 19th at 9 A.M.
Now that summer is over the Binky Patrol will
resume their monthly meetings on Wednesday
September 19th at 9 A.M. in the copy room.
The Binky Patrol sews or knits small quilts for
babies born with addiction, and babies and children
with AIDS or other illnesses. The blankets
are distruibuted through CHOC, Birthright,
Laura’s House, Toby’s House, Cathy’s House
and other facilities that care for babies and children
in need. Donations of fabric, flannel, fleece
and batting are needed. For more information

Join the Catholic Social Justice Ministry as we
advocate eliminating the death penalty and replacing
it with life in prison without the possibility
of parole. Our next meeting is October
9, 2012, 7:00PM, in the Church Meeting
