Religious Education Update:
Our Children’s Weekday Faith Formation program
begins in early October, and we are
still short a few teachers and aides. Would
you search your heart to see if God is calling
YOU to our children’s ministry this year? On
Monday afternoons we need a teacher’s aide
in 5 th (see information this page)
grade, and on Wednesday afternoons
we are short a First Grade Teacher and aide,
plus teacher aides in 3rd, 4th & 5th grades.
Please pray for Spirit-filled adults to help
evangelize our little ones, and call if YOU can
help make a difference in their spiritual lives
this year. May God’s blessings be yours,

ments of Initiation?
If you or anyone you know is interested in
becoming a Catholic or in need of completing
the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation,
Eucharist), please call Donna Couch,
Director of Faith Formation, 496-6011, for a
personal interview to begin the process. The
first information session of the Inquiry Phase
of the RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION
OF ADULTS (RCIA) will be held TUES-
DAY, SEPTEMBER 18th at 7:30 p.m. in
Knight Hall. Mark your
calendars now!
ADULT CONFIRMATION CLASS IS
FORMING…if you are one of those
Catholics sitting in the pews every Sunday
who was never confirmed along the way in
High School, no need to feel guilty or upset
about it anymore! We have a special process
of preparation just for you. Please call the
Faith Formation Office at 496-6011 for specific
details. FYI, Confirmation of adults
takes place every year on PENTECOST
SUNDAY. Don’t procrastinate any longer –
make that call!
Bible Study gets underway THIS WEEK!
If you have ever wanted to read the Bible, but
did not know where or how to begin, then The
Bible Timeline Parish Study is for you.
The Bible Timeline will be offered at St.
Edward on two days: Tuesday mornings, beginning
Sept. 18, in Knight Hall, OR Wednesday
evenings, beginning Sept. 26, in the school
lower lunchroom. For more information call
