VALLEY HEIGHTS (WEST) – REMOVAL OF FRAME D AND RENEWAL OF 113 TURNOUT Commencing at 0200 on Saturday, June 2012, and continuing until 0200 on Monday, 4 June 2012, the following work will be carried out: Frame D (Down Refuge to Coal Siding), releasing switch D (114) and associated signalling equipment will be removed. Existing points 113 (Down Refuge to Down Main) will be renewed in approximate the same position with a catchpoint provided at the Sydney end. The control and indication panel at Springwood Signal Box will be altered to reflect the new arrangements. SYDNEY TERMINAL (WEST YARD) – CONVERSION OF SY14, SY15, SY16, SY17 COACTING, SY43 AND 202 POINTS INDICATOR TO LED TYPE Commencing at 0200 on Saturday, 2 June 2012, and continuing until 0200 on Monday, 4 June 2012, the following work will be carried out: The existing Sydney Terminal Signals SY14 on Platform 9 Road, SY15 on Platform 9, 10 Middle Road, SY16, SY43 on Platform 10 Road, SY 17 Coacting on Platform 11 Road, and 202 Points Indicator on Platform 11 Road will be converted to LED type lamps. Signal SY16 Indicator was removed. Signal SY17 Indicator was renamed SY17 Coacting. The indications displayed and the form of signals remain the same.
