To connect the reader to the PC: 1. Ensure that the PC is turned off. 2. Connect Connector 1 to an available COM port on your PC or laptop. 3. Connect Connector 2 to either the Keyboard or the Mouse PS/2 port. 4. Connect the Keyboard or Mouse to Connector 3 (if necessary).
