American Legion held in the Memorial
Hall, Carmel, last Saturday night,
further plans were discussed concerning
the Putnam County Children's Field
Day to be held on Flag Day. June 14.
Last week there were a number of inquiries
as to whether or not the school
girls of the county would be allowed to
compete in the field day events, and
to those who have inquired and lor
others who may ask, there will be field
day events for the girls, such as, fifty
yard dash, 220 yard relay, broad jump
and novelty shoe race, that scored a
big hit at the Argonne Post field day
