Andriana Grams is a 5 th grade student at Gates Mills Elementary.<br />

Andi is recognized by her teachers and staff as a student with excellent work habits, study skills and a<br />

strong work ethic. She is extremely conscientious and completes daily work and homework tasks<br />

regularly. Andi is looked upon as a leader and willingly tackles difficult tasks requested by her teachers.<br />

She is a wonderful friend and classmate. She is kind and caring to everyone she encounters.<br />

Along with academic and social success, Andi has had excellent attendance every year. She is a model<br />

student and considered a joy to teach. Andi has the qualities to be successful throughout her school<br />

years.<br />

3. BOARD MEMBER COMMITTEE REPORTS<br />

George Hughes discussed the merits of HB 136 and its emphasis on expanding the use of<br />

vouchers throughout all of Ohio and not limited to poor performing districts. This could have a<br />

significant negative financial impact on <strong>Mayfield</strong> <strong>School</strong>s.<br />

4. Presentation:<br />

Gates Mills’ Principal, Mary Meyers, presented the ongoing school building effort to connect the school<br />

to the community by using the <strong>District</strong>’s writing goal. Each grade level selected a specific area of the<br />

community to connect with.<br />

the Board of reports from the BCII and the FBI which are consistent with the applicants' answers on the<br />

B. ADDENDUM - IN MEMORIAM<br />

Kimberly R. Yirga passed away on August 25, <strong>2011</strong>. Kimberly Yirga was a Science Teacher at <strong>Mayfield</strong><br />

High <strong>School</strong> for the past 10 years.<br />

Condolences are extended to the family of Mrs. Kimberly Yirga<br />

Carl Roth passed away on <strong>September</strong> 20, <strong>2011</strong>. Carl Roth was a Social Studies Teacher at <strong>Mayfield</strong> High<br />

<strong>School</strong> for 30 years until he retired in 1989<br />

Condolences are extended to the family of Mr. Carl Roth.<br />
