FOOD & BEVERAGE:<br />

B A N Q U E T T E R M S A N D C O N D I T I O N S<br />

<strong>River</strong> <strong>Rock</strong> <strong>Casino</strong> <strong>Resort</strong> reserves the right to be the sole provider of food and beverage for all events with the exception of<br />

wedding cakes, for which a cake cutting labour charge of $2.50 per person will apply.<br />

One set menu is required for all guests. Certain dietary substitutes can be made with prior arrangements. Substitutions made<br />

during an event will be subject to a service charge as determined by the culinary team at the time of event.<br />

In the event that any guest in your group has food allergies, you shall inform us of the names of such persons and the nature of<br />

their allergies in order that we take the necessary precautions when preparing their food. Should this information not be provided,<br />

you shall indemnify and hold us forever harmless from and against any and all liability or claim of liability for any personal injury<br />

that does occur.<br />

In accordance with B.C. Liquor laws, all alcoholic beverages consumed in the licensed areas must be purchased by the<br />

Hotel through the BC Liquor Distribution branch.The Hotel policy permits the service of alcoholic beverages from 11:00am to<br />

1:00am (Monday to Saturday) and 11:00am to 12:00 midnight on Sundays and Holidays.<br />

For Host or Cash bars, should consumption be less than $400.00 net revenue per bar, the following labour charge will apply:<br />

* $25.00 per hour, per bartender for a minimum of 4 hours<br />

* $35.00 per hour, per bartender on statutory holidays for a minimum of 4 hours<br />

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT:<br />

<strong>River</strong> <strong>Rock</strong> <strong>Casino</strong> <strong>Resort</strong> will confirm an event as definite once a non-refundable deposit and a signed contract have been received.<br />

The balance of the charges (as estimated by the Catering Department and as indicated by your event contract) will be due<br />

fourteen (14) days prior to the function date. Payment may be made by certified bank draft or cheque, credit card or cash.<br />

We will also require a credit card for our files to act as a guarantee for any remaining balance owing following the event. Billing<br />

may be established upon completion of a full credit application and approval by the <strong>River</strong> <strong>Rock</strong> <strong>Casino</strong> <strong>Resort</strong>’s Credit Department.<br />

Thirty (30) days is required to process the application form. Terms (once credit has been established) are Net 30.<br />

GUARANTEE:<br />

It is the responsibility of the client to advise the catering department of the guaranteed number of guests 120 hours or five (5)<br />

business days in advance of the event. The hotel will set and prepare for a 5% overage to a maximum of twenty (20) guests,<br />

space permitting. In the event a guarantee has not been received by the hotel, billing and meal preparation will be based on the<br />

original number of guests as noted on the event contract or the actual number in attendance, whichever is greater.<br />

Should the number of guests decrease by 25% or more from the original expected attendees, an additional surcharge or room<br />

rental will apply. <strong>River</strong> <strong>Rock</strong> <strong>Casino</strong> <strong>Resort</strong> reserves the right to provide more suitably sized function space.<br />

CANCELLATION:<br />

Functions cancelled within five (5) business days of the event will be charged at 100% of the contracted food, beverage and<br />

meeting room rental based on the estimated attendance as indicated in the guarantee (above). Functions cancelled less than thirty<br />

(30) days, but more than five (5) days will be subject to 75% of the estimated food, beverage and meeting room rental.<br />

All cancellations must be in writing. For accommodations cancellation please refer to the Guest Room Terms and Agreement.<br />
