Goals and Challenges
The Albemarle & Bond Holdings PLC website was designed and developed to
coincide with the Company’s annual announcements the City. The website had to
portray the successes the Company had made over the past year. Importantly, it
had to ensure that possible investors would be confident of Albemarle and Bond’s
financial stability, professionalism and future profitability.
The website had to be ready to go live on the 28th September, there was no room
for slip-ups or delays as this was the day the Company released its annual reports.
pixelbuilders.com delivered this successfully via Kentico, ensuring there was
sufficient time before go live for testing and any amends.
Solutions
The Albemarle & Bond Holdings PLC website makes use of many built in features
of the Kentico CMS. Aspects such as events, news, related documents, bespoke
document types, edited page type and media galleries have all been implemented
to ensure the website is as functional as possible, whilst been very easy to maintain
by the Company’s web team.
The whole project fit to very tight deadlines, with multiple teams and agencies
involved in the beginning stages of the project - particularly with design. However,
pixelbuilders.com (along with using Kentico as the platform for the whole project)
managed to deliver the whole project from start to finish within 5 weeks. This
included integrating Global3digital live XML share price feed, that is styled to fit
the design of the website.

Results
The Albemarle & Bond Holdings PLC website delivered on its two main objectives.
These were to present the Company in a professional manner to the city and to
deliver key information to shareholders and investors alike. The website
incorporates a cleaner, ‘slicker’ brand image bringing a stalwart of the UK
pawnbroking industry into the modern era.
Upon launch the site served its visitors with an easy to navigate interface, easy
accessible documents and up to date financial information – including live share
price information. The team at Albemarle & Bond were able to update the site’s
content throughout the day as more reports and information were released.
This ensured visitors (and the all important investors) found the latest information
at the click of a mouse.
