Heating & cooling worm conveyors • Heating & cooling worm conveyors for continuous conveying and cooling or heating of the material conveyed. The worm is equipped with a double jacket into which water or steam is fed at a controlled temperature, which also applies to the worm shafts. The material is cooled or heated by turning it over so that it will exchange heat with the temperature-controlled steel surface.
