TERRY GUNVORDAHL • Set Designer
Terry has designed more than two hundred shows for theatres across Canada and in the United States. His designs have appeared in
film, television, in museums and the occasional Stampede parade. This has been an exciting season with designs for Alberta Theatre
Projects, (“The Penelopiad”); Vertigo Theatre, (“Twelve Angry Men” and “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”), Lunchbox (“Wanda’s Visit”) and Mount
Royal University (“A Midsummer Night’s Dream”) and Sage Theatre (“The Blue Room” and “The Girl in a Goldfish Bowl”) and of course
Stage West to design the lighting for “All Shook Up”. After a busy season last year Terry took time this summer to go white water
canoeing, hiking, do some sculpting, and writing. He has just finished performing in “Courage”, a one man show about J. M. Barrie and
looks forward to the next challenge.
