All for a Good Cause! March Media Arts Mash Up @ Glance<br />

Over $400 raised at Fundraiser for Baby Jesse Arrigo<br />

An impressive $400 was raised in donations<br />

at the last March Media Arts<br />

Mash Up on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at<br />

Heritage Mississuaga’s the Grange (1921<br />

Dundas St. W). And all for a good causein<br />

support of baby Jesse Arrigo, a baby<br />

that was revived after drowning and a near<br />

death experience. 50 people were in attendance<br />

at this highly acclaimed event.<br />

Jesse’s documentary has already reached<br />

over 1,000 hits on YouTube!<br />

The 20 minute documentary short, Jesse’s<br />

Miracle was showcased to over 50<br />

people in attendance at the event. Director,<br />

Grant Padley, Prodcuer, Kevin Hedley,<br />

and Editor, Emily Van Praet from<br />

Atomic Clock Cinematic Arts Inc. were<br />

present to answer questions in the style of<br />

a Q&A, moderated by Jesse’s grandfather,<br />

Bob Arrigo.<br />

Filmmakers Grant Padley and Kevin Hedley<br />

of Atomic Clock Cinematic Arts Inc.<br />

started working with the Arrigo Family in<br />

the fall of 2012 on a short fi lm focusing<br />

on then sixteen month old near drowning<br />

survivor Jesse Arrigo. Over the period of<br />

2 months, Grant and Kevin followed Jesse<br />

from his various therapy appointments<br />

to spending time at home with his family.<br />

Over the course of the journey the fi lmmakers<br />

learned more about hope, courage,<br />

and love than they could have ever<br />

imagined.<br />

Jesse’s mother Kristin along with three of<br />

Jesse's key therapists were also in attendance<br />

at the event to answer any audience<br />

quesitons about the documentary and<br />

Jesse’s ongoing recovery. Therapists included:<br />

Laurie-Ann Fayle from the Ontario<br />

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Centre; Robert<br />

Harris from the Cranial Therapy Centre;<br />

and Tema Stein from Footprints Therapy.<br />
