Lehmhütten, Holzbauten, Steinhäuser – weltweit haben sich Architekturen entwickelt, die perfekt<br />
an ihre Umgebung, das Klima und die verfügbaren Materialien angepasst sind. Für das aktuelle<br />
Interesse an nachhaltigem und ressourcenschonendem Bauen bieten sie wertvolle Inspirationen.<br />
31 Modelle zeigen traditionelle Architekturen, unter anderem aus China, Italien, Mali und Marokko,<br />
sowie eine Auswahl zeitgenössischer Positionen von rural Studio, Carin Smuts, Studio Mumbai,<br />
Simon Velez und anderen. Filme, Fotografien und Pläne zeigen, wie die Gebäude konstruiert<br />
sind, und lassen den Alltag ihrer Bewohner lebendig werden.<br />
Mud huts, timber dwellings, stone houses – architectural structures around the world have evolved<br />
to be perfectly adapted to the surrounding environment, climate and available building<br />
materials. They offer valuable inspiration for the current interest in sustainable, resource-efficient<br />
construction. Thirty-one models show traditional architecture from places like China, Italy, Mali<br />
and Morocco, as well as a selection of contemporary structures by rural Studio, Carin Smuts,<br />
Studio Mumbai, Simon Velez and others. Films, photographs and plans show how the buildings<br />
are constructed and convey the everyday lives of their inhabitants.<br />
Huttes en torchis, constructions en bois, maisons de pierre… Partout dans le monde, l’architecture<br />
a su s’adapter à l’environnement, au climat ainsi qu’aux matériaux disponibles. Ces modèles<br />
sont aujourd’hui des sources précieuses d’inspiration dans la tendance actuelle de construction<br />
durable et économe en ressources. 31 maquettes d’éléments architecturaux traditionnels sont<br />
présentées, provenant notamment de Chine, d’Italie, du Mali et du Maroc, ainsi qu’une sélection<br />
de points de vue actuels de rural Studio, Carin Smuts, Studio Mumbai et Simon Velez. Films,<br />
photographies et plans sont également exposés pour présenter les techniques de construction<br />
