After inserting the Installation DVD the following menu appears. In case the <br />
feature doesn’t work, the same window can be activated opening the Windows Explorer and<br />
executing the “welcome” file in the CD/DVD drive.<br />
Choose the wanted language, here: English<br />
As a first step we recommend to install the hardlock driver package.<br />
SOFiSTiK changed the hardlock system with this release 01/2008. The new system is called WIBU Codemeter,<br />
the basic driver <strong>installation</strong> is done here. More information can be found under: http://wibu.com/<br />
After selection the Codemeter <strong>installation</strong> starts.<br />

After <strong>installation</strong> you should see the corresponding entry in the status line of your computer. This shows that the<br />
Hardlock driver for the system used (WIBU Codemeter) has been installed successfully. You can click on the icon<br />
to open the menu where information about the key and the <strong>Sofistik</strong> content can be viewed/imported/exported.<br />
Next step – back to the main menu – is the <strong>installation</strong> of the SOFiSTiK FEA package.<br />
Click on FEA Version 23 to start the <strong>installation</strong>.<br />

According to the ordered configuration one of the modelling features are installed:<br />
- SOFiPLUS 16.4. in case you use an Autocad license 2004 or 2006<br />
- SOFiPLUS 17.1 in case you use an Autocad license 2007 or 2008<br />
- SOFiPLUS-X 16.4 in case you have no Autocad and decided to use the OEM version from Sofsitik.<br />
Note: check your order resp. license agreement before selecting one option here.<br />

This is done using the <strong>Sofistik</strong> program SONAR.<br />
