This is the most imortant and influential publication on molluscs by the zoologist and palaeontologist Cuvier. Cuvier was
one of the first to describe in detail the soft parts and anatomy of molluscs and used this as a basis for the systematics of
the group.

Histoire Naturelle, Paris.
