courses are provided, which are only available at the

Programme Details
A total of 120 hours of content will be delivered. Day 1 will focus on new and advanced
features and topics of interest to all delegates. Days 2, 3 & 4 will offer a number of parallel
streams to enable you to select the sessions of most value to you - whether you are a LIMS
administrator, laboratory manager, key stakeholder, or IT specialist. See below for more

An overview of the new developments LabWare has been working on over the past year.
Some of these developments will be further discussed in breakout sessions later in the week.
Senior LabWare consultants will showcase an array of cutting-edge and useful techniques
that they have implemented in recent projects. Topics presented at the 2012 CEC included:
“Using the ‘R’ statistical package for advanced regression analysis”, “Fast Sample Logging
using ELN and DBCloneSample”, “Dynamic Crosstabs in Visual Workflows”, and many more.
These short courses are highly recommended for newer LIMS Administrators. Courses on
offer may include: LIMS Admin 2, Troubleshooting Techniques, LIMS Basic Programming,
Crystal Reports, SQL and Databases, User Dialogs.
These courses focus on specific area of functionality, such as Visual Workflows, ELN,
Stability, LabStation or Document Management. It is also planned to hold an advanced
Crystal Reports course.
These sessions provide a forum for industry-specific interaction. They will include functionality
demos and updates on Best Practice from a team of Industry Experts.
Delegates will be able to share what they do in a number of specific areas, give feedback
and explain their requirements. Last year’s workshops included: Environmental Monitoring,
Storage Location Manager, Archiving and many more.
This year, we will give LIMS Administrators the opportunity to renew their LabWare certification
for the next two years by taking the LIMS Admin 2 assessment at the CEC.
Over 100 LabWare Consultants and members of the Management Team will be available
for individual advice and consultation.
The CEC offers tremendous opportunities for networking within the LabWare Community.
This is very important to us and we make sure that we create plenty of opportunities for this
to happen during coffee breaks, lunches and evening events.
More and more LabWare customers use the CEC to conduct strategic project reviews. We
can facilitate this and arrange for the relevant LabWare Directors, Product Management,
Managers and Consultants to assist.
