Delta Robot Astor
The Astor is able to pick and place products into
assortment-packs with vision-guided high speed
Delta Robots. It can be used for a wide variety of
applications such as chocolate, biscuits, or products
packaged in pouches.
High Speed and Accuracy
The high-speed Astor Delta Robot can load up to
120 products per minute into blister packages
with one robot. With 8 robots implemented, the
Astor can pick up to 1000 products per minute.
A maximum of 12 robots can be aligned in one
assortment line, while each robot can handle up
to 3 different products.
Changes in production fl ow are handled
automatically by the Astor robots.
Changeovers for a new product can be carried
out in less than 5 minutes with a variety of
inexpensive changeover parts.
The vision control system ensures that even
randomly oriented and positioned products are
placed precisely, thus there is no need for any
additional intermediate infeed process.
The Gemini 3 software allows users to create
simulations of new recipes on a virtual machine.
3D visualizations provide a precise view of the
robot operations for a better diagnostic
capabilities.
Gentle Product Handling
Vacuum cup or light-touch mechanical
end-effectors are designed to pick up almost
any kind of product and ensure gentle product
handling.
The robot cell is designed for maximum
fl exibility to achieve the highest levels of
performance while consuming the lowest amount
of energy.
Low Maintenance Robotics
Composite materials, fi xed position motors and
the absence of bending wires provide strength,
durability and long life.
Robot arms are collapsible and remountable
within one minute. The end-effectors can be
easily changed without any tool.
The Astor Delta Robot is designed for a 3-schift
